DESCRIPTION:The Art Laboe Show returns to YouTube Theater in Inglewood, CA on September 20, 2025. This year’s tribute show features a stellar lineup of iconic performers, including Zapp, MC Magic, Amanda Perez, Malo, GQ, Peaches and Herb, The Persuaders and Sunny Ozuna. Art Laboe was an American radio host, songwriter, record producer, and radio station owner credited with coining the term "Oldies but Goodies." Beyond his musical achievements, Laboe was a pioneer of social change, using music as a force for unity. Through his legendary dance shows at the El Monte Legion Stadium, he played a key role in breaking down racial barriers in 1950s Los Angeles. His events welcomed teens of all backgrounds, especially from the Hispanic community, creating a rare and powerful space for togetherness in a segregated era.
